Latest Nintendo Direct information:
Well, Nintendo had some interesting things in their latest Nintendo Direct. The good thing was, it was all about the current generations (The Wii U and the 3DS) and not about the much rumored but little concrete known Nintendo NX. Here are some key details:
Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem got a new name (Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE), and a release date (June 24th)
9 Classic SNES games will be available for the New Nintendo 3DS, The first (three Pilotwings, Super Mario World, and F-Zero) are now available, three more will be out later this month (Super Mario Kart, Earthbound, Donkey Kong Country) and the last three (Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest) will be available in April. Note that this will ONLY be for the New 3DS, and will offer “pixel perfect” mode to play exactly at the resolution of the old games.
They also had information on the new Star Fox games (Star Fox Zero and add on game Star Fox Guard), the new Paper Mario game, as well as more information on the new multiplayer game in the Metroid Prime universe (that the fans are still upset about), as well as Monster Hunter Generations. There was also information about updates coming for Super Mario Maker and Splatoon
