Ch-ch-changes coming to World of Warcraft PvP…
And I’m not 100% sure if it’s a good thing, or a bad thing, or something in between. Read more about what’s coming, and my thoughts.
So, it sounds almost like PvP is going to be its own game in Legion. Classes could play very differently in PvE and PvP.
Some of the changes:
A) You will earn Honor Experience Points by doing PvP, which will unlock specific PvP talents, up to Prestige Level 50. You can reset this once you get to max Prestige Level, to earn more titles and mounts, to do all over again.
B) Gear will NOT be a super factor in PvP, as all players will be assigned the same base gear in PvP instances, with only a small modifier being based on what you’re wearing outside of PVP (The example they gave is what normally would be a 25% difference in PvE would become a 2.5% increase in PVP gear. So there is a small difference, but not a super one.
C) PvP seasons will be shorter. Since Honor Prestige Levels will not be reset between seasons, it will allow folks to go full out from the start rather then having to spend each season slowly gearing up.
