The post-Christmas Dead Zone..

No, I’m not in a post-Christmas funk because all the gifts are opened (we’re doing that next week due to all that’s happened this month.) Nor am I down because it’s actually finally going to snow in New England  It’s because.. we’re in the Dead Zone.

You know what the post-Christmas Dead Zone is right? It’s because we try to get excited for what’s coming out in the next week or two.. and because everyone has to get their games out before Christmas.. there’s nothing new and exciting to look forward to for some time. Coming in the next week we have..

Amplitude (a reimagining of the classic game from Rock Band-creators Harmonix), which is getting mixed reviews (a fun game, but limited song choice may drag it down).

and Hardware: Rivals (no, it’s not a Deathmatch between Sony Fanboys and Microsoft fanboys.. wait.. is there Microsoft Fanboys??), A tank game featuring different classes of armored vehicle. and a build-your-own type mentality.

So, it’s the post Christmas deadzone and now that I think about it, I am a bit bummed out that we’re actually going to have winter here in New England… but don’t forget, we have the upcoming Twitch stream on Wednesday night!
