Gaming Leftovers on Turkey Day

There. Final Thanksgiving Pun – I swear. Some good news for sports simmers this week.

Nice to see Jim Gindin over at Solecsimic Software has released a new version of Front Office Football. FOF 8 has a lot of engine tweakes, and looks to be a lot more than just a fresh coat of paint. It may be some time before I get to play it, but the sports simmers I hang out with seem to like it.

Still addicted to Motorsport Manager, played it a bit today before visiting family for Thanksgiving dinner.. so much fun and so challenging

Still strange to see three football games on Thanksgiving. It used to be you’d watch the early game on CBS, the late game on Fox, and THEN hit your football coma. Now, NBC’s getting into the act too.

One of these days, I need to get back into playing the Division, and the Survival mode looks kind of interesting, if more of a challenge than I’m ready for.

Speaking of a challenge, YOU try ignoring Duke the Monster Dog when he’s whumpering for attention, having been alone all day because his humans went and had dinner with the family (Actually, I’m not one hundred percent sure whether he’s sadder that we were gone all day or that we’re not sharing leftovers with him). So happy Turkey Day everyone!
